Drying, filtration and storage

Drying processes in the food industry are often associated with the generation of explosive dust atmospheres. This can lead to explosions and therefore requires the consideration of constructional explosion protection measures. Changing process-related pressure loads as well as material caking due to condensate often lead to technical problems which have been solved by the development of our explosion vent and thus contribute significantly to increasing process safety.

Constructional explosion protection in the food industry includes:
1. Protection of flash dryers, cyclones, etc.
2. Protection of process filters through safe pressure relief (according to DIN EN 14491, NFPA 68).
3. Protection of storage silos through safe pressure relief (according to DIN EN 14491, NFPA 68) including the necessary implosion protection.
